Christmas Bikes for Kids 2024

On the cold morning of Saturday, December 7, Santa’s Elves gathered at South Gulf Fire Station 1 to do what good Elves are supposed to do… They brought their tools to assemble bikes for kids. These Christmas elves are not a part of any formal club or fraternal organization…. Just a great group of volunteers who show-up every Christmas season to assemble bicycles & tricycles, inflate basketballs, soccer balls & footballs too! Coastal Community Association & Gulf County Sheriff Mike Harrison sponsor this holiday tradition. Donations for the bicycles & gifts come from Gulf County area individuals & organizations. The bikes & gifts were delivered to deserving kids by Gulf County Sheriff Deputies just before Christmas Eve. Thank you to all who support this great holiday tradition with their contributions. Special thanks to South Gulf Fire Rescue for pulling out the fire trucks so our Christmas Elves can do their magic!
