SGCVFD 501(c)(3) Donates to Florida Sheriff’s Association

On October 10, 2024, South Gulf County VFD 501(c)(3) non-profit presented a $1,000 check to Gulf County Sheriff Mike Harrison, earmarked for the Florida Sheriff’s Association’s “Lend-A-Hand” fund assisting Florida Sheriff Deputies whose homes may have been damaged by recent hurricanes or flooding. Those same Sheriff Deputies are out on patrol protecting our Florida communities, residents and visitors during the recent devastating storms. This upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, when you take home a great Boston Butt from our South Gulf Fire “Annual Butt Roast,” it’s good to know that your purchase is also allowing us to help others in our Florida community. SGCVFD 501(c)(3) supports South Gulf Fire Rescue, First Responders, Water Rescue, Beach Safety and the South Gulf Beach Warning Flag system.
