Severe Winter Storm Damage Support

January 2024

Thank you, SGCVFD 501(c)(3) Board for supporting our neighbors. With your approval vote, we presented $500 checks to (3) great, local organizations in response to the cold and volatile weather brought by winter storms.

While visiting these groups in January 2024, a common comment was made to me, “… We often get requests for help … (resulting from the recent extreme cold & even tornadoes) that help is needed, but the requests don’t always fit the strict guidelines of our donors. This donation is a ‘Godsend’.”
